6.Coaching and Counselling — Important Disclosures
Please read this section carefully before engaging our coaching or counselling services.
- Coaching is not therapy. Coaching is a forward-focused, goal-oriented process. It is not a substitute for professional psychological treatment, medical advice, or crisis intervention. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified mental health professional or emergency services immediately.
- Counsellor-in-training disclosure. Kabinga C Mazaba is currently completing her counselling training and operates under appropriate professional supervision. By engaging counselling services, you acknowledge this disclosure and consent to your sessions being discussed in supervision (in a de-identified manner) as required by professional standards.
- Confidentiality. All coaching and counselling sessions are confidential, except where disclosure is required by law (e.g., risk of harm to yourself or others, mandatory reporting obligations).
- Your responsibility. You are responsible for your own decisions and actions. Coaching and counselling are collaborative processes, and outcomes depend significantly on your own commitment and engagement.
